About Found Objects
Found Objects was formed seven years ago with a simple idea: make music that makes a powerful impact.

Building upon our classical music training at the Yale School of Music, we honed the craft of composition but also realized we wanted to reach beyond the concert hall to create memorable musical experiences across all media. At Found Objects we strive to craft music that has a clear identity and an undeniably compelling voice.

Since then we've written music for award winning advertising, television, and film and have become a sought after name for innovative and unique music that elevates any project's aesthetic.

Our advertising work is frequently featured on Ad Week and Creativity Online. Most recently, BMW's 'Hello Future" and Verizon's' "Powerful Answers" campaigns received full page write-ups. Our work on Ogilvy & Mathers' Coke "Wearable Movie", was on the 2013 Cannes Lions Short List for Interactive Film. We wrote the music to the award winning Sharpie campaign, "It Starts With Sharpie", which received a TED: Ads Worth Spreading and Silver ADDY award. These are examples of Found Object's signature sound.

Our film and tv credits include original composition for Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story (VH1), Lie To Me (FOX) The Nine Lives of Chloe King (ABC Family), Frontline (PBS), Tall as The Baobab Tree, Rockaway 113, orchestrators for the famed Doctor Who (BBC) series, music supervision for Remembering the Artist, Robert De Niro Sr. (HBO) , and music production for The Botany of Desire (PBS). We have released scores on Philip Glass' record label Orange Mountain Records and the indie label Notenuf Records.

In addition to our own creative work, we have worked with some of today’s most exciting composers and artists such as Philip Glass, Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, Rufus Wainwright and Calexico.
